I thought I had it all – a beautiful family & a great job. I loved being the wife, the mother, the nurse, and the activist. But when my youngest son was tragically taken from me, I felt as though my world had ended.
Every breath, every day felt labored like my soul had left. Incapacitated, I couldn’t get up. Then one day, I started to feel well again. I was able to cope with my despair bit by bit, and then I could get up and begin to heal. The “vitamins” my husband had been giving me turned out to be CBD gummies. They gave me the strength to face my reality instead of masking my pain. Prescription drugs made me feel different, but CBD gave me clarity in thought to begin my journey to self-care.
